Boasting a huge capacity of 90,000 people, Wembley Stadium is the largest music venue in the UK. The Stadium was recently re-built in 2007 and has laid the stage for some of the biggest names in music such as Muse, the Foo Fighters and ACDC. Many artists have paid testament to Wembley Stadium coming from all other the globe to perform. As well as being a music venue for commercial acts, Wembley stadium also hosts charity events, festivals and of course football. Accessible by tube, you can reach the stadium on the London Underground (Jubilee, Metropolitan and Bakerloo lines) or by bus.
Just a short walk from North Greenwich tube station, located in the South east of London, the O2 is very easy to travel to. Starting its legacy as the millennium dome in 2000, it was built to commemorate the turn of the millennium as an entertainment venue. Despite being on the smaller side of venues in the UK, with a capacity of 20,000, it is in fact the busiest. The O2 was purpose built with acoustics in mind, meaning it provides impeccable sound quality for live performance, one of the reasons for its popularity. The O2 has hosted the most renowned artists in the world, we recommend you go experience this unique venue for yourself!
O2 Shepherds Bush Empire
Unlike our previous two venues, the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire offers a more intimate setting, with a modest capacity of 2000. Despite its size the venue has won multiple awards commending it for its unique atmosphere. As well as hosting big name artists such as the Rolling Stones and more recent chart toppers, the venue offers the chance to see up and coming stars in a more personal environment. The O2 Shepherds Bush Empire is a short walk from Shepherds Bush tube station and is a must for any avid music fan.
